The Outlaw Half Holkham weekend hosts a range of events against the stunning backdrop of Holkham Hall in beautiful North Norfolk. There’s onsite camping and this is a great opportunity for everyone in the family to get involved and enjoy a weekend of multisport in fabulous surroundings.
Saturday will host the NEW Outlaw Gravel Sprint Holkham, a traffic free event within the estate walls. After a successful launch in 2023, the Outlaw Eat & Meet will return on Saturday evening. Held in the Lady Elizabeth Wing, with food from our favourite Outlaw Chef and a discussion with some of triathlons finest (and possibly funniest) athletes.
On Sunday, we have the ever-popular Outlaw Half Holkham, our award-winning middle distance triathlon, which passes through countryside and villages. There’s also the NEW Aquabike event which will take place alongside it – a fantastic addition to the Outlaw series for those who prefer a run-free format.
Both our triathlons offer a 2 or 3 person relay option, so you can take part with friends or family, each person doing a different leg and coming together to cross the finish line.
We build a bespoke campsite close to the Event Village. Camping is available from midday on Friday until 10am on Monday. You can book one, two or three nights. If you are racing and leaving on Sunday, you’re welcome to shower and pack up after your race. Please be aware that access may be restricted while events are in progress.
Pitches are 8m x 6m and can hold one tent and a car or a camping vehicle, no more than 6 people to a pitch. Prices start at £30 per night for a tent without electric (up to two people) and £45 for a camper without electric (up to two people). There is a small charge for additional people staying on the pitch (children under 5 stay free). Electricity is £10 per night.
The site is equipped with basic showers, washing up facilities and toilets. Dogs are welcome but must remain on a lead at all times due to the free ranging deer and livestock in the Estate.
Due to height, width & weight restrictions, we are unable to accommodate vehicles which exceed the following:

You can book your pitch via Lets Do This (terms and conditions apply) – they will send you a confirmation email and you will receive final details and check in information from us in the week before the event.
Other accommodation: Holkham is in a very popular tourist area, so there is a wide range of options available but early booking is advisable.
The venue has parking charges. You can pre purchase a two-day pass or a one-day pass in advance with your race entry (Sunday race participants must visit the Event Village to register and rack on Saturday). The option to purchase on the day will be available but higher charges will apply. If you are booked onto the Event campsite, you are allowed one vehicle per pitch which will not require a separate parking pass.
Our lively event village has a great atmosphere and there are plenty of places to cheer people on during the races, including at the finish line. Each Sunday athlete will have a live tracker so family and friends can view their progress.
The Holkham Estate, surrounding beach and nearby Wells-Next-The-Sea have plenty to do and see. The Event Village will also have plenty of options for eating and a range of exhibitors. Dogs on a lead are welcome on site.
